DeviceTest

System, battery and sensor tests

See what your browser knows about your device and test the battery, motion sensors and GPS.

Which test for which question

  • System Info – you need your browser, operating system and hardware details, for example for a support request.
  • Battery Test – check the charge level and whether the device is charging.
  • Sensor Test – see whether the motion and orientation sensors of your phone respond.
  • GPS Test – check whether your device can find your position.

How it works and a quick tip

The tests read only what your browser exposes, and they run on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Location and motion sensors ask for your permission first, and you can say no or revoke it later.

Support varies by browser and device. Some browsers do not share battery data, and many desktop computers have no motion sensors at all, so an empty result can simply mean the feature is missing. For a better GPS result, test outdoors or near a window and give it a few seconds to settle.

Handy for a quick check before you buy or sell a used phone or laptop: compare the details shown here with what the seller claims and see whether the sensors and battery behave normally. The results are a first look, not a full diagnosis.
